Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EloMath website (elomath.com) and our mobile application (the “App”) (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who We Are
EloMath provides interactive math practice and learning features. Some parts of the Services may include automated explanations (see “EloMath AI” below).
2. Eligibility
You must comply with applicable laws to use the Services. If you are under the age required to consent to online services in your country, you may use EloMath only with permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts
3.1 Registration
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at contact@elomath.com.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Services (e.g., hacking, probing, or bypassing security).
- Use automated means to access the Services in a way that degrades performance.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Services except where permitted by law.
- Attempt to manipulate leaderboards, ratings, or gameplay systems through cheating, bots, or exploits.
5. EloMath AI (Automated Explanations)
5.1 What It Is
The Services may include an AI-powered feature (“EloMath AI”) that displays automated explanations or learning guidance for math questions. EloMath AI outputs are generated automatically using EloMath’s own prompts and configuration.
5.2 Educational Use and No Guarantee of Accuracy
AI-generated explanations are provided for educational purposes only and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You should not rely on EloMath AI as the sole source of truth. EloMath does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated explanations for any particular purpose (including exams, grading, or academic certification).
5.3 No User-Submitted Content Sent to the AI Provider (Current Design)
Under the current design of EloMath AI, user-submitted content is not transmitted to the AI provider for generating explanations. If this design changes in the future, EloMath will update its Privacy Policy accordingly.
6. Intellectual Property
The Services, including software, text, graphics, logos, and other content, are owned by EloMath or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services without written permission from EloMath.
7. User Content
If the Services allow you to submit content (for example profile details, feedback, or support messages), you are responsible for what you submit and must ensure it complies with applicable laws.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. EloMath is not responsible for third-party content, terms, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, abused the Services, or created legal or security risks. You may stop using the Services at any time.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EloMath disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EloMath will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Services.
12. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
EloMath operates from the European Union (Cyprus). These Terms are governed by applicable law as determined by relevant jurisdiction rules. Nothing limits mandatory consumer rights.
