How EloMath Practice Works
Choose a math floor, open a theme, then pick a subtheme to practice one skill at a time. Each subtheme page combines a quiz, instant feedback, explanations, and a lesson/book so you can review the idea and apply it immediately.
The practice page is the topic map. The subtheme pages are the study pages: answer questions at the top, use Start lesson when you need a refresher, read the supporting explanation, then return to the quiz.
Choose one subtheme
Themes expand into specific subthemes such as fractions, systems of equations, derivatives, vector spaces, and probability. Choosing a subtheme keeps every question on the same skill.
Use the lesson when needed
Subtheme pages include a Start lesson book and an explanatory section with definitions, examples, common traps, and quick checks. Open it before the quiz or after a mistake.
Practice with immediate correction
After each answer, EloMath shows whether you were correct and displays the explanation. Use it to compare your reasoning with the expected method before moving on.
Build streaks and crowns
Correct answers build a streak for that subtheme. Longer streaks unlock crown levels, so progress is attached to the exact skill you are practicing.
Practice Mode FAQ
Does Practice Mode affect my rating?
No. Practice Mode is for learning specific topics without changing your Ranked rating.
Which topic should I practice first?
Pick a subtheme that matches your current goal: an easy foundation topic for review, or a topic where recent questions felt uncertain.
How are practice questions organized?
The practice page groups topics by floor, theme, and subtheme. Each subtheme link opens one focused quiz page with its own lesson, explanation content, and progress tracking.

Tips
- Try the question first without notes; use a notebook when the calculation or proof idea needs structure.
- If you are stuck, open the lesson or read the explanation, then retry similar questions while the method is fresh.
- Use Practice for accuracy, Challenge for speed, and Ranked when you want rating pressure.
What happens on a topic page
A topic page starts with the quiz. Below it, the lesson and info content explain the methods used by the questions, so you can switch between practice and review without leaving the page.
